Big news at Eurostamp - Eurostamp Tooling series 'ESH'
All tools in this series are manufactured using premium CrMo steel, which thanks to its high ultimate tensile strength (UTS) (950- 1050 N/mm²) allows for higher tonnages with the same tooling cross-section.
CHARACTERISTICS AND INNOVATIONS OF UPPER TOOLING
Punches with induction hardened tip to 55-56 HRC, for an average depth greater than 3mm for a high degree of hardness of the tip radius and of the whole area touching the sheet metal.
» Punch shapes are newly designed so as to reach maximum flexilbility (several profiles feasible).
» Working height is 120mm, suitable for the daylight and stroke parameters of most press brakes on the market.
» All the punches in this range have the same working height: it is possible to manufacture complex profiles with 90° angles installing any punch in staged bending.
CHARACTERISTICS AND INNOVATIONS OF LOWER TOOLING
» Whole die surface (not only die shoulders) is covered with a nitride layer with a hardness of up to 65 HRC.
» Die surface is phosphate coated in order to increase corrosion resistance
» Body of small-V dies is "relieved" (made thinner) to provide higher versatility in the manufacturing of complex bends.
» Die insert external corners are chamfered to reduce chances of collision with any obstacles close to the bending lines.
